Best cams (long)

If you want the very short version then:

IMLive - Website we liked the most for 1 on 1 private chat. Also has really cool features like watching multiple cams at the same times and and a pretty unique filtering possibilities (like Shy girls alone).

Watchmecum - if you want to show yourself while you masturbate

Chaturbate - Sometimes really nice shows for free, even if you don't tip, you will see a lot because others do.

Slutroullete - if you want to have a 1 on 1 chat

From the most popular one's I wouldn't use:

LiveJasmin - website is too popular, therefore many girls don't need to put too much effort and most of the quality is really low.
BongaCams - well, it's just very simple and it's 2017 already and we want new and more interesting things :)

If you want to know more in details read below:

Me and my friend went on an "adventure" and tried probably every cam chat site there is :)

The websites are mainly divided into two types:

- Girls looking at the cam, not showing much, trying to seduce you to join them in a paid 1 to 1 chat.
- Girls are making a nice show, sometimes with really extreme stuff in a hope that she will be tipped. On these sites you can see quite a lot for free. In fact whether you tip or not (spend money or not) it doesn't make a big impact, since collectively there's a lot of tips already and the girl is doing a show.

Another factor is if you're looking for a cam site where you can get the most for free or where you can get the most for your buck.

Review of IMLive:

Im Live is one of the oldest live cam sites. And it was looking pretty old as well until they went and did a full revamp of the interface and features a couple years ago. So, lets see how it is looking these days after having a couple years to work out the kinks of that complete overhaul.
Let's start with the navigation. On the live cam page, you're presented with multiple ways to browse the site. You can view the performers in a list, gallery or tile view. "List" is reminicent of their old look and is my least favorite. "Tile" is the look of choice for Jasmin and a few other cam sites. But my preferred view is "gallery," because it's somewhere between the two. The layout is well-aligned and gives a bit more information on each performer than the tile view.
You also have "multiview," which is a cool feature that allows you to peak into six different live chat rooms, free or private. (The private option will cost you 3 credits per minute.) Another site to have done this is Flirt4free, with their super-voyeur feature.
Then you have "hot spots." I couldn't figure out what this was, other than it being their selection of hot-at-the-moment chat hosts. "Your list" is pretty self-explanatory and "outdoor cams" features performers who take their camming outside and with them as they go about their day.
One of the biggest issues is that not all the girls let you see their streams for free, even if they're not in private. This is a pretty standard feature among most live cam sites, so although most of the performers here do allow it, to not have it fully available with every babe is a bummer.
However, the first 20 seconds of each private chat session are free. So, feel free to use that to preview the girl and her cam quality. It isn't much time, but it is enough to at least get a first impression. There is a helpful countdown timer that shows you your 20 seconds. But beware, because it goes by faster than you may think.
The prices vary, but I randomly clicked on 15 cams and 12 of them were charging a very reasonable $1.98 credits/minute (based on the credit pricing it looks to be 1 credit = $1). And I was impressed with the stream quality. Most performers use HD cams, but even those that don't, had great-looking cams and some were even better than HD!
Another cool feature is this thing called "sheriff's office," where you can report any performer who didn't provide what was promised, was rude, etc. This is nice because on most cam sites these kind of complaints are a one-way street. Performers will ban and block you as soon as you say something rude, give a bad review, etc.
They also have what they call "happy hour" cams, where the price is much lower because the chat is not exclusive (group). To give everyone a chance to be the "controller" you wait in line (first come, first serve it seems) to be able to chat with the performer and tell her what you want her to do.
Members also get access to over 29,000 short video promos and more than 46,000 recorded shows. The recorded shows cost credits, though, and the quality isn't very good. There are also over 1,000,000 galleries of the performers that are in their own section and easily accessible. These are a combination of profile pics and shots pulled from the webcam shows. You have the option of recording every cam session you're paying for and watching them later for free, but the quality is fairly bad.
Probably one of the best things about the site is that you can use it with your mobile devices (iPhone/iPad included). Use the same login and enjoy one of the few cam sites that works without Flash (for iPhones). The functionalities are much more limited due to size of the screen, but you can still enjoy your favorite performers. Unfortunately, the first 20 seconds are NOT free on mobiles - you're being charged right away so I suggest trying babes in the free chat first to make sure you're happy with what you see before jumping into a private convo.
As far as the amount of cams, categories and performers, the site is quite impressive. Signing up is free, so you can check it out for yourself before making any decisions on buying time. If you haven't been here in a while, now's the time to give Im Live another try.

Review of Chaturbate:

Where everything is filthy and everything is free

Hello, fellow sex chasers. Is it really that time again? Time for me to stop looking at all the top rated cam sites and get down instead to writing a review about them? Okay, well it's the cross I have to bear!
The site I'm going a little bit blinder at this week is Chaturbate. Well, that's a groovy-sounding name for a start. I wonder how they came up with that moniker ... NOT! I tried a little detective work, but I guess I ain't no true detective, as there's not much info about concerning the guys who run Chaturbate. The site is a mere pup compared to most of the other cam sites I've reviewed, having been around since 2011. They are based in California in the US, although a lot of their functioning is done in the UK. It seems that Chaturbate is a very fast-growing site, and there have been complaints that the site is down a lot because, it seems, their sexy steam-powered servers struggle to keep up at times.
Okay, that's the background stuff. Now, if you are used to cam sites like Sexier.com and ImLive.com then you're going to find Chaturbate is not quite the same ... so prepare to have your sexy socks blown right off ...

My initial thoughts ...

Okay, well the volcano-hot pic above should have given you some idea of what life is like at Chaturbate. You're probably asking "Tom ... have many dollars did you have to pull out of your fat wallet to see something like that?" - and my answer is going to frazzle your brain ... NOTHING! Yup, you read that right ... the screenshot above was captured at Chaturbate for FREE and I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO REGISTER. Okay, I'll calm down and stop shouting. Now, WOW (oops!) you saying, I can get this sexy goodness from hot cam models for absolute zip? What's the catch? Well, there is one, but it's only a slight one - to find hot models like the one above, you have to strike a bit lucky. ANYONE can be a model (or "performer" as it is put) at Chaturbate, in fact there's no real difference between a viewer and a performer - it's all one big happy sexy family. Unfortunately, that means you're going to have to wade through a lot of fat hairy men to see all the beautiful pussy that's on offer!

So, how does it all work at Chaturbate? Well, it's unlike what you're probably used to at other top rated sex cam sites. First up, there's abSolutely no demand for you to join Chaturbate. You can browse all the cams and watch people fucking and sucking and doing some really crazy shit for nothing. If you want to contribute more to the site, or if you want to show other Chaturbate members your private parts or do some sexual stuff, then click on the orange "Sign Up" button in the top right hand corner of the siTe. All you need to do is fill in your username and password, your date of birth and your sexual preference (guys or gals or both) and agree to the T&Cs, and you're all set.
So, you enter the site as a member, and you get a few extra benefits, including the ability to record shows, buy vids and pic and to be a performer yourself. If you want to see how that works, click the "Broadcast Yourself" link and set up your web cam - don't worry, you won't be passed through as a performer until you've proven your age. Chaturbate has a zero-tolerance policy on underage cam models.
The payment side of things works on a "tokens" basis, and every token you buy is worth ten cents. You can also sign on the bottom line for just under twenty dollars a month, for which you get a one-off bonus of 200 free tokens, and you get to remove the site's pop up ads, see the models in full screen and use the messaging service.
When you find a sex cam babe you find interesting, you can pop along to view her cam. If she's a hottie you'll be joining hundreds of other viewers, I promise you. Under her cam window, you'll see something like "200 tokens to play with my tits" (her, not you!). If the x-rated cam model receives the total from all the people viewing in tips, then she'll start to do whatever she said she would do, and then will set a new target like "300 tokens to play with my pussy". Everyone watching can tip, so you can either contribute yourself, or wait for everyone else to be generous.
A few of the sexier xxx cam models will only allow you to view if you pay. These private shows cost anything from 6 to 90 tokens a minute.

Those extra features ...

There's really not a lot of extras. You can send PMs, view in full screen and remove the ads if you make the regular payment, but that's about all.

How to register ...

If being a horny freeloader appeals you can enjoy most of the stuff on Chaturbate (aside from the private shows) for nothing. Registration is just a username and password and a coupla other bits away ...

The ways you can chat ...

Free chat (unless you want to tip) and Private Chat which you have to pay for.

Quality of the videos ...

Most of the chaturbate xxx cam "models" can stream in HD, and so can you if your ISp is speedy enough. If not, you're down to standard definition.

How much it'll cost you ...

Nothing. Okay, there's the monthly fee option, but it is really worth it? You can also earn tokens if you're willing to broadcast yourself and people like your sexy antics enough to tip, and you can sell these tokens back to Chaturbate at five cents a pop. You can buy tokens as follows (US dollars only):
USD $
PriceTokens
$10.99100
$20.99200
$44.99500

The ways you can pay ...

Lots of options. The site takes Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, plus debit cards from Switch or Maestro. Your main eWallet functions are UKash, ClickAndBuy and PaySafeCard, and if you've a Western Union account you can use Wire Transfer. if you earn and sell tokens you'll receive a personal check, or be paid via Paxum or Payoneer.

How many models ...

No idea how many people are on Chaturbate, and how many are willing to broadcast themselves. Only around a hundred cams are online at any time, and about forty will be private.

The support you can get ...

You can read the FAQs or send them an email.

The good and the bad ...

Good

✔ - Genuinely free amateur adult sex cams
✔ - No need to even sign up to see plenty of hot sex action
✔ - If you don't want to share the experience with lots of others, there are a few models you will only go private

Bad

✖ - Some of the private shows are really expensive - $9 a minute!

Winding things up ...

Yowzer. Chaturbate is the adult cam site that's for the masses that's for sure. If you want to see people showing off their junk, and even if you want to show off your junk, then Chaturbate's for you. Personally, I admire it for failing to hide beneath a banner of "adult entertainment" - Chaturbare is all about jerking off while you watch people having sex, and you can see sooooo much without registering, or spending one single cent. It's all like a sex cam version of the "Readers Wives" section you get in porno mags! If this all sounds too enticing, then click on one of the buttons dotted around this review and go and have some hot and dirty fun!

How much do webcam models make? Would you pay for one?

I am a stripper and a webcam model on watchmecum during the day.
Just to note that I am a guy, not a woman :)
People are paying to watch models. It’s a multimillion (or billion, I don’t know) business and considered to be the new porn. so the second question is a bit irrelevant.
I personally manage to make 30$-60$ per hour averagely.
It is a bit unstable though. Sometimes there’s some big spender comes into your room and things go really wild.. sometimes there’s no one in the room. It seems that once you start receiving some tips your room goes much higher in the rating and it attract much much more visitors.
One time someone gave me a tip of 250$ to see me cum..

If you are a guy, then just make sure you are using sites where there guy models. On others you might not have success at all.

Do guys make money on cam?

Guys DO make money on online cams.
I am working as a stripper during evenings and during the day I am modeling.
There are couple of things I’ve noticed:
  1. You can earn much more by modeling in the US evening time (though this might depend on the website you use).
  2. Some guys don’t have popular channels, because they are putting a terrible webcam angle where they look fat and etc.
  3. Many women actually do like to watch male models while masturbating. Though it might not seem so if you’ve ever tried some Chatroulettes and seen only men masturbating over there, that’s not representative. Apparently, women are usually already in a chat with someone and of course there are significantly less women than men anyway.
  4. Lets say if you will become averagely popular you will make 10$-40$ per hour quite easily. and more than that also, but not easily.
  5. If you are open to be a model for men and you are younger than let’s say 25 and have a decent body (not everyone likes all muscles).. well.. we are talking here about higher amounts of money you can make. This is based on another model I know.

I used couple of big websites like Livejasmin and from my experience (and also more logical) it is better to use a website where men models are more popular like watchmecum

Can I make 10000 as a cam girl?

10000 of what? per what? per month?
Well, the short answer is yes, you can make a lot of money by working as a cam girl. Same as you can make a lot of money by opening you own business and maybe you won’t make anything at all.
Currently I am making 30$-100$ per hour, if I am choosing the right hours. That is after I developed my profile. In the beginning I would earn two times less or some hours I wouldn’t earn anything.
I have tried couple of cam sites, for now the most profitable and fun for me is Chaturbate. Somehow it feels fun there.. more interactive. On many other sites girls are just sitting and looking at the cam. Here you do stuff and viewers just tip you from time to time. it’s a different concept and it works better.
You can also try the new site Free Sex Chat. Heard good stuff about it. Didn’t try it myself.

How much do "camgirls" typically make annually?

This is a very tricky question, just because there are huge differences between one cam model to another, so “typically” is not really clear.
Let me go briefly about the types of camgirls that you have..
  • You have the one’s that just began and after couple of days they dropped it. Most likely they didn’t succeed that much and that’s why they dropped it. That’s a big chunk of models. If you would take them into the average they would lower it considerably.
  • There are the studio girls.. these one’s usually won’t quit quickly, because the studio takes care of their success. I am talking about some studios who are doing it professionally and someone who just wanted to make some extra couple of dollars and it seemed like a good idea for him.
  • There are girls who just keep on trying
  • There are girls who just have some sort of a natural talent, you could say.. or they just got lucky. Maybe in the first days they got lots of visitors and they just got very motivated and kept going. Having success on the first days is very important. This is what will keep you motivated or it won’t.
There’s also a consideration of FULL TIME cam girl or just to chill sometimes in the evenings.
There are also men models and couples. Yes, men can sometimes make a good buck.
You can search online how much they typically make, but most likely you will come to stories with an affiliate link in the end. Basically they are trying to trick you into believing that you will make a lot of money and that you should sign up and start doing it. Of course once you will click their link you become their referral. There’s nothing wrong with that actually. It’s just that the numbers they will use there are biased.
Finally, if you’re asking this because you would like to know if you should start doing this or not, then ask yourself if you are feeling comfortable in doing it first.
That’s because if you do, you will make some nice money. I often see those models who are just there for the money. I think that generally they are making significantly less and at some point just give up.
I can share my numbers if that helps you (that DOES NOT mean you will make the same), but that can give you an indication of how much you can get if you keep trying.
I am currently using three sites at the same time:
Chaturbate - This one got me going good from the start and for 2 hours a day I was making 50–150$.
Nowadays it is usually 150$-250$ for 3–4 hours. I started working more since I’ve seen it makes sense. Keep in mind the hours and the days.. some websites have more US audience, so it’s very active in the late evening-night. Some websites have more europeans. in Chaturbate I am aiming for US customers.
LiveJasmin - this one got me started slow. In the first days they bring you up to the top and you get quite a lot of visitors, you get excited.. but after couple of days they bring you almost to the bottom of the list and you get bored.
So if I wouldn’t take my couple of first days into account I was making very unstable profits. Could be a completely dry evening (2–3 hours) and I would make 0, but sometimes there would be 1–2–3 customers and I would make around the 50$.
Now I can make approximately the same 150$-250$, since my profile is much more popular.
Watchmecum - This is a pretty new website, Chaturbate style, but more based on watching men cum on cam and get paid for that. Men love that stuff apparently.
Chaturbate and Watchmecum pays around 50%. It pays 5 cent per one token actually and the price of that token depends on different things.
LiveJasmin pays around 30%–60% (more when you earn more).
Chaturbate is generally more customizable (like blocking visitors from your own country/city), more fun and there’s always traffic in your room that give you tips, but you have to do naughtier stuff to succeed.
LiveJasmin well.. you just need to lure people into private to succeed, but outside of private most girls will not show hardcore stuff, more of a teasing erotics.
Watchmecum is bringing me occasional customers. I keep it always on with combination of Chaturbate for example. This way when someone wants me to watch him, I can quickly switch. (there are tools that allow you to show your webcam in two places). Nowadays it brings 5$-25$/hour, but some hours are empty.
So that’s also an important factor when choosing.
So to summarize MY EXPERIENCE:
Chaturbate - I think it has a higher chance of success, need to do naughtier stuff.
LiveJasmin - need to do erotic teasing, harder in the beginning.
Watchmecum - you can watch guys cum and make some money.
For guys definitely Chaturbate or Watchmecum. I think to be a model on the second one makes more sense.
If you have questions let me know.

How to make money online

I am going to share my expertise in the field that brought me a lot of passive income through the years.

I am sharing this with the intention of testing how some aspects of Quora for my analytics purposes. The links I will provide will be tracked. These are not affiliate links, but for analytical purposes I track them.
I start with explaining my intentions, since I know that many users won't click just because they think it's another spammer with his affiliate links.

I am going to write about some general concepts and about specific methods that worked for me. This post is going to be only about affiliate marketing.

More specifically we're talking about how to promote products and get leads to your referral links.
I am going to mention general concepts and one method that works and not your traditional ways of getting traffic through a blog and such. There are tons of posts about that.

General concepts:

1. Be systematical: I think that many of us fail because they don't have a very set schedule of when they need to work. As a result they work on things for couple of days and they drop it.

Imagine you have a set time for English classes. You will have the commitment to go and do it.

The trick is to set a time. For example: Mon, Tue, Thu from 19:00 till 22:00 you are working on promoting your passive income. If you wanna be sure that you will stick to it, choose an outside location that you will have to drive to and once you're there you will be working only on this thing (same as if you would have to go to English classes for example).

2. Don't count on free stuff everywhere: Everyone wants to achieve results by not investing any money. That's just make things much much harder. Just the concept itself -  since so many people are trying to do it without investing anything that the competition is insane. What's your chance of succeeding.. invest in some basic tools, like proxies, analytics and guidance of specialists. We will discuss this in more detail later.

MOST IMPORTANT POINT:

3. Focus on a REPETITIVE method: this is the most important point. Don't focus on profits you can make 1-2 times (unless they are very high), but focus on finding a method that you can repeat over and over and over again. At some point you can automate it or hire someone to do it for you. Keep finding these and that will bring you to a financial freedom at some point.

From my experience I found recurring methods that worked for years, but all of them except one at some point stopped. Also some of them had to be slightly adjusted from time to time. Right now I don't focus on one time profits, only on things that can be repeated.

Ok, now lets talk to the point!

1. Check out the answer of Stephan Florenz (also on Quora). He describes how to get PPL (pay per lead) signups by yourself, without the need of external traffic.

What he describes works on many websites and what you have to do is Google "PPL Affiliate programs", get a list of these programs and try on different one's, until you find one's where it works. Actually some people and myself we know some programs already, but I don't see a point to share it, since everyone will be abusing it :)

2. Get yourself a good proxy. Any type of promotion is better done through a proxy. Why? because when you're gonna start posting stuff around there's a chance you will get banned, EVEN if you don't post spam. That's just how it happens. You don't want your IP to be banned and also you don't want people to be able to find where are you from.

If you're gonna start doing serious stuff, like creating multiple users on a website and etc. you will not be able to do it without a proxy anyway.

I worked with tens of proxy sites and the one I can recommend right now is Instant Proxies. There could be other good one's. Anyway, it's just 1$ per proxy and you can get it refunded in 5 days. Very stable and from US.
Do not go for free one's. There's no chance they are stable and fast (because they are free and everyone is abusing them).

3.  Get yourself a link shortener where you can analyze every link separately. You can use bit.ly for this, but it's quite basic. However, this will already allow you to see which links convert and which don't.
You have to keep track of all the links you post somewhere and the results of them. You will see that most don't bring good results, but one does and you have to squeeze that one to the max. 1 out 10-50 brings results is an OK result.
If you don't keep track, you won't know which one worked, so you won't be able to squeeze and will lose most of your potential traffic.

4. Revenue sharing is usually more profitable than PPL (Pay per lead). Even if it seems like getting those free sign ups is simple. So if you're planning to promote and get actual traffic then choose for Rev Share programs.

Here is a summary of the tools you must get to begin:

1. Instant Proxies - will cost you just 1$ per proxy.
2. Bit.ly (to begin with) for link analytics - free version is enough to begin with.
3. Use Excel to track your conversions - free on Google Docs
4. Depends on your methods get yourself a good SEO tool, good hosting and invest in some domain names. But this is not directly related to this post, just a general advice.

Good luck!
I’m going to answer this based on a research I did online and based on my personal experience:
First of all, I am working with SEO teams and I get this question a lot. I’ve tried more than 20 paid proxy services and as of today the best one for beginners is Instant Proxies. Just because it has a stable 1$/proxy and they are pretty damn stable.
But there are so many that there could be other good one’s also, but it will take you hours if you just gonna Google and try them one by one.
I would not recommend free proxies at all for any professional activity or activity that requires a stable connection. You just won’t have it, because people are abusing these free proxies heavily. If someone tells you otherwise, then it’s either for a very short period of time or he is trying to trick you somehow.
This is what other websites say: (just Google them, I don’t want to spam the answer with links).
Official and popular proxies and VPNs:

HMA VPN
VyprVPN Pro
PureVPN
TorGuard
IPVanish VPN
Private Internet Access
ibVPN
CyberGhost VPN
SwitchVPN
OverPlay

Popular Proxies only:

BuyProxies
HideMyAss
MyPrivateProxies
YourPrivateProxy
EZProxies
Anonymous-Proxies
LimeProxies
SSLPrivateProxy
NewIPNow
ProxyNVPN
SquidProxies

These one's are less popular, not so recommend one's. I tested some of them and these are more amateur:

Dontfilter
Anonymizer
Myspace-unblocker
Fake IP
Rxproxy
Newipnow
Megaproxy
Adfreeproxy
Bind2
Unblock-proxy
The-cloak
Ninja Proxy

If you have no time to check all these one’s then you can go for the Instant Proxies I suggested earlier.
